Field app guide
Everything you record on the phone becomes the job's record and feeds the estimate. Here's how to record it.

Open the app on your phone
The field app runs in the phone's browser on any iPhone or Android phone. There's nothing to install.
- Open it in Safari or Chrome and sign in with your email and passkey.
- Add it to your home screen, and it opens like an app from then on.

Set the room with Now in
Tap Now in and choose the room you're standing in. Every photo and reading you take goes to that room until you change it.

Take, approve and discard photos
Each shot shows full screen with Approve and Discard before it is sent.
- An approved shot arrives in the job approved.
- A discarded shot is never sent or stored. Discard deletes it outright.
- iPhone photos are fine, including in the Moisture Map PDF.
Photos from your gallery, labeled in bulk
AvailablePhotos chosen from the gallery go through a labeling grid: who took it, the date taken, and the room. Send stays off until every photo is labeled.

Log readings, drying logs and equipment
- Moisture points, temperature, humidity and grains per pound, day by day.
- Photograph the meter and the reading is read from the photo.
- Record equipment as it's placed and removed, each with a photo.
- Drying Conditions are kept on the job.

Get forms signed, and log contents
- Work Authorization, Certificate of Completion, the visit sign-off and your company's own forms are signed on the phone.
- A photo of a form asks which room it belongs to, like any other photo.
- Contents items, boxes and locations are logged with the QR box scanner, or typed if a code won't scan.

Measure and draw rooms
Every phone can draw a room. Use whichever method your phone supports.

Ceiling height is typed. Turn angles and wall heights are always asked for, never assumed.

Work with no signal, and sign out safely
- Jobs are kept on the phone. Changes wait in a queue and send when the signal returns.
- One person edits a job at a time. An edit made offline to a job someone else holds waits, and sends when the job is free.
- Sign-out sends everything waiting first. With no signal it refuses and says why. Only after every item is confirmed does it clear the phone.
